\n CAM4 is an official streaming platform on OBS! This means OBS will auto configure your exact setting needs for optimal streaming on CAM4.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how it works:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Login to Cam4.com > Select\u00a0Broadcast<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Select >\u00a0External Encoder<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Select >\u00a0Get Stream Key<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Highlight Stream Key<\/strong> and\u00a0Copy<\/strong>\u00a0key as it will be pasted into OBS<\/li>\n
  5. Open > OBS<\/li>\n
  6. Select >\u00a0Tools<\/strong>. Then select >\u00a0Auto Configuration Wizard<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Select >\u00a0Optimize for streaming, recording is secondary<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Click >\u00a0Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Base (Canvas) Resolution select:\u00a0Use Current<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    ** Base canvas = your primary monitor’s resolution**<\/em><\/p>\n

    1. FPS: Select\u00a030<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Click >\u00a0Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Stream Type: Streaming Services<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. Service: Cam4<\/strong>\u00a0(show all if Cam4 is not listed)<\/em><\/li>\n
    5. Stream Key: (clear if populated; paste key previously copied from your Cam4 broadcast window)<\/em><\/li>\n
    6. Estimate bitrate with bandwidth test:\u00a0CHECKED<\/strong><\/li>\n
    7. Prefer Hardware Encoding (if an option):\u00a0UNCHECKED<\/strong><\/li>\n
    8. Click >\u00a0Next<\/strong><\/li>\n
    9. Stream Warning pop up box: Select\u00a0YES<\/strong>\u00a0and wait while settings are configured<\/li>\n
    10. OBS then shows Final Results for your settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Select\u00a0Apply<\/strong>\u00a0to use the new settings.<\/p>\n

      \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Settings will not be applied if you select\u00a0Cancel<\/strong><\/p>\n
